Biography:
Tushar Saini is a PhD candidate in Sustainable Finance at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. His research critically evaluates corporate carbon disclosures, blending econometrics, climate policy, and data science to challenge greenwashing and promote transparency in the voluntary carbon market. His work has been featured in The Financial Times and Voxeurop. Tushar has taught a full course on Sustainable Finance at Maynooth University and previously served as a tutor for Applied Portfolio & Risk Management at UCD. He has also delivered guest lectures on climate and sustainable finance at UCD, Maynooth University, and the University of Bordeaux. In addition, he contributed as a subcontractor to a World Bank–funded green energy project for OECS nations, supporting legal and sustainability analysis. He is currently a researcher with GreenWatch, an initiative leveraging AI to scale sustainability analysis, and has supported the preparation of several successful grant applications for European and national research funding.
